Alla Prima Autumn Tree

Loose alla prima oil painting of a single glowing red-orange autumn tree standing near a broad northern lake in crisp morning light. Recompose freely from the reference material, placing the tree off-center with a large field of open blue water and pale sky around it. Keep the shoreline minimal and quiet, with only a few low dark shapes to anchor the tree. Concentrate the brightest scarlet, coral, orange, and gold in the tree, balanced by cool blue-gray water, pale blue sky, and violet-brown shadows. Large simple value masses, strong silhouette, broad confident brushwork, broken color, lost-and-found edges, selective impasto, luminous and painterly, not photographic. --ar 4:5 --v 8.2
